New High School Program to be Hosted at the Hope Center
We are pleased to announce that Marysville Schools will house its new Alternative High School at the Hope Center beginning the Fall of 2017.
The program will occupy several classroom spaces in the Community meeting wing adjacent to the Next Generation program area. While the program will operate
independently of the Hope Center, we are thrilled to make use of under-utilized meeting space to serve some
of our community’s most at-risk youth. We look forward to supporting the new Alternative High School and its
staff and students in a safe, nuturing and encouraging space as they work toward the goal of graduation.
An article in the February 6, 2017 edition of the Marysville Journal-Tribune has caused some confusion as to the details of
the program and its impact on the Hope Center. To clarify, the impact on current Hope Center operations will be minimal. As with any new program
that begins in the building, there will be adjustments needed
to accommodate the increased or specialized use of that program. However, our current programs and ministries
will continue to serve the community as planned. The Hope Center will continue in its mission to meets the needs
of our community.
As always, your support and investment in the community center make partnerships like this possible. Together, we can Build Hope for the Next Generation.
Questions regarding the High School program should be directed to the Board Office at 937.578.6100. Questions
regarding the Hope Center operations can be directed to email@example.com.
