Comunity Kitchen

The Community Kitchen serves free meals to anyone that comes to us, no questions asked. Our goal is that no one in Union County goes hungry, by serving good, nutritious meals in a safe, comfortable environment.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Volunteer your time. Even a couple of hours a month would be of great benefit to this ministry.

If you love to cook, or want to learn to cook, there is a place for you at Hope Center's Community Kitchen. Our chefs put together daily menus.

We can also use people who love to serve the delicious food coming out of our kitchen. Right now we are only doing curbside pick-up of meals. So you would be helping hand out the boxed meals.

Areas of Help needed

Cooking

To assist with cooking you must be 18 years and older. Please wear your hair back, closed toe shoes and currently we are asking you to wear a face mask.

Serving

We currently do carry out meals. We need help to box up the food and pass them out. Anyone 14 years of age or younger must be accompanied by a parent.

Prayer

Pray for us as we serve and for those that we are serving, to God’s glory.

Donate Items

We can always use canned (store bought) fruit and vegetables, pasta, mac & cheese, Jello, fruit drink mixes, store bought cookies, spaghetti sauce, American or provolone cheese slices, shredded cheddar, Mexican blend or mozzarella cheese.

Also, coffee and tea(reg & decaf).

PLEASE NOTE: We would love to share the bounties from your garden. However we can NOT use home canned food.
