Restored 61 is our gently used clothing ministry that is available to families and people of all ages. All items (other than undergarments) are donated by our community. Because we all have something to offer, we love when our families bring their gently used outgrown items to be made available to others.
Our goal (or vision) is to provide high-quality, clean and comfortable gently used clothing to our neighbors empowering them to present themselves with dignity and confidence. We believe in responsible consumption and minimizing waste by repurposing donated clothing and accessories. Interested in donating to Restored 61? Click here to learn more. |
The Hope Center Furniture Bank is an emergency service. Whether you need one item like a dresser or kitchen table or a household full of items we are here for you. We can help you with anything that you would need to move into a new home.
To receive assistance, you will need to speak to the Hope Center’s receptionist at 937-303-4209 to schedule an EAP interview. During this interview, the EAP specialist will help you fill out an application for the items that you need from The Furniture Bank. You will then be called by a volunteer from The Furniture Bank, to schedule an appointment at which time you will choose and take home the items that you have chosen. Our Hope Mobile Markets are supported and in conjunction with MidOhio Food Collective. We receive 9,000-10,000 lbs of fresh produce and assorted items (meat, dairy, prepared, bakery-subject to availability) twice monthly in two locations in Union County. Qualified families can register and shop our free market selecting the items they want in quantities applicable for their household size.
Our Magnetic Springs Hope Mobile Market takes place the first Wednesday of every month from 11am-1pm and is located at 30 Magnetic Springs St, Magnetic Springs. Our Milford Center Hope Mobile Market takes place the fourth Friday of the month from 11am-1pm and is located at 77 W Center St, Milford Center. Our goal (vision) is to provide fresh, healthy produce and other food items to support our neighbors' food budgets. We enjoy and highly value the relationships built with our families, among volunteers, and with our MidOhio driver who personally selects the items he delivers to us. |
The Hope Center is launching the Everybody Eats initiative, a mobile food trailer designed to ensure that no one goes hungry. The trailer will visit different locations during lunchtime, offering hot, nutritious meals to all—regardless of their ability to pay. This program is dedicated to making sure that everyone has access to a warm meal, while also raising awareness about food insecurity in our community.
How It Works: - Affordable Meals: Enjoy a meal at a suggested donation price. The goal is to keep meals affordable for everyone, ensuring that no one is turned away due to financial limitations. - Pay It Forward: You can also choose to “Pay It Forward” by donating towards someone else’s meal, helping others in need and fostering a sense of community. Raising Awareness: In addition to serving meals, the food trailer will participate in local community events to educate and engage the public about food insecurity and its impact on the region. These events provide an opportunity to learn, share, and contribute to the cause. Get Involved:
