Community Kitchen Donations

Here's a list of commonly used items that you can donate to the Community Kitchen (please remember that in one meal, we could serve 50-80 people):
  • Broth, both chicken and/or beef
  • Canned fruit
  • 8" flour tortillas
  • Countrytime Lemonade Mix (63 oz)
  • Montreal Steak Seasoning (29 oz)
  • Minced Garlic (Costco is best)
  • Ranch Dressing
  • Italian Dressing
  • Evaporated Milk
  • Fiesta Blend Cheese
  • Oil, either vegetable or olive only
  • Canned jalapenos
  • Canned green chilis
  • Mayonnaise (large bottles)
  • Napkins
  • Gift Cards:  Walmart, Kroger, GFS
Community Kitchen donations can be delivered to the Activity Center at the Well Nazarene Church, 1126 N Maple Street, Marysville from 1:30 - 6 pm weekdays.  

Donation Hours and Important Info

We will accept your donations at our 333 N Maple Street location: directional signs will direct you to the donation area.  

All donations of items and food will be received in one donation area.  Only monetary donations will be accepted at our main office.  Donation receipts are available at our main office as well.

HOURS OF OPERATION:
The donation area will be open ONLY DURING THESE HOURS: 
(No drop-offs or dumping after hours)
Monday   9 am to 4 pm
Tuesday   9 am to 4 pm
Wednesday   9 am to 6 pm 
Thursday   9 am to 4 pm
Friday   9 am to 4 pm

Last Saturday of each month:  All donations are accepted from 10 am to noon.  
May 30, Jun 27, Jul 25, Aug 29, Sep 26, Oct 31, *Nov 21, *Dec 19 (*adjusted due to holidays or other events scheduled)
PLEASE NOTE:  We cannot pick up furniture or donations.

We can accept the following items if they are clean and in good condition.
ITEMS WE CAN ACCEPT                                                                   
  • Clean sofas, chairs, end/coffee tables, desks, bookcases, rockers
  • Dining room/kitchen tables and chairs
  • Working Flatscreen TV’s
  • Nightstands & dressers
  • Bed linens/sheets, mattress covers, blankets, & comforters
  • Towels - bath, hand, and washcloths
  • Lamps: table and floor
  • Large electric appliances: washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, microwave ovens
  • Small heaters, fans
  • Small appliances: toasters, toaster ovens, coffeepots, blenders, mixers, crockpots
  • Bakeware, dish sets, pots and pans, utensils, silverware
  • Table settings/plates, cups, saucers, serving dishes
  • Clean and functioning vacuums
 
ITEMS WE CANNOT ACCEPT 
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT BROKEN OR DIRTY ITEMS
  • Console TV’s
  • Large China cabinets or entertainment centers
  • Used beds- mattresses, box springs, frames or bed pillows
  • Knick knacks, decorative frames, wall art, or shelving
  • Computers and other electronic equipment
  • Exercise equipment
  • Cribs (due to safety regulations)
  • Car seats of any kind (due to safety regulations)
  • Lawn furniture or garden tools
  • Wheelchairs, walkers, canes, bedside commodes, other handicapped items (the Marysville VFW will accept these)
  • Pianos or any other musical instruments
  • Large office furniture
  • Books (please donate these to the Goodwill Bookstore on US 36)
  • Luggage
  • Bed or decorative pillows
  • Pet items
  • Window air conditioners
  • All children’s toys​
