Donations make our Compassion Ministry Programs possible. From clothes to furniture and essential supplies, your gifts help us meet the immediate needs of our community members.

Emergency Meal Kits
Suggested Meal Kit  Ideas:

Tuna Casserole 
Tuna, Noodles, A cream soup (chicken or mushroom) Green Beans, Peaches
Gift Card:  Milk

Taco Meal Kit  (Crunchy and Soft)
Boxed Taco kit, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese, Rice or Refried Beans, Fruit Cocktail
Gift Card: Could provide the tomato, cheese and lettuce

Spaghetti  (A variety of Pastas could be used to make different dinners)
Spaghetti, Hunts spaghetti sauce, grated parmesan cheese, Corn, applesauce
Gift Card: ground turkey or ground beef

Chicken Fettuccine
Box Fettuccine Noodle, Jar Alfredo Sauce, one can chicken or fresh chicken, Peas, Pears
Gift Card: For chicken if not supplying can chicken

Rice a Roni w/ Beef or Chicken
One box of beef or chicken flavored Rice a Roni, Green Beans, Peaches, canned chicken if using chicken flavored, fruit of choice
Gift Card: For ground turkey or ground beef

Chili 
Two cans chili beans, One can light kidney beans, One can diced tomatoes, One can tomato sauce, Packet of chili seasoning, Saltine Crackers, Applesauce
Gift Card: For ground turkey or ground beef 

Macaroni and Cheese  
2 Boxes Mac and Cheese, Green Beans, Fruit of choice
Gift Card: Milk, Butter

Pizza
Boxed Pizza Kit, bag of Pepperoni, side, veggies

Additional Items Needed For Emergency Pantry
On hand for persons in housing transition:

Canned Entrees (with Pop Lids Preferably):
Spaghetti O’s, Mac & Cheese, Spaghetti, Chili,
Corned Beef Hash, Tuna, Canned Chicken

Packaged Meals that can be heated up in microwave and would serve as a dinner or lunch (anything in a cup that can be heated in a microwave)
Soups, Mashed Potatoes, Rice Dishes, Hamburger Helper

Extra Items: Fruit cups, Applesauce Cups, Fruit Snacks,
Breakfast Bars, Protein Bars, Crackers, Snack Packs of Dried Fruit and nuts, Individual servings of peanut butter

Also:  Ketchup, Mustard, Mayonnaise

Furniture Bank

Donations to the Furniture Bank are accepted INSIDE the donation bin behind the Armory building at the Union County Fairgrounds.  Donations that do not fit INSIDE the donation bin will be accepted Wednesdays from 12 - 2 pm and Saturdays from 10 am - 12 pm.
