A new community-based Home for Hope in Union County

Place Our Community Can Call Home
For more than a decade, the Hope Center has been a trusted resource in Union County, a place where people could come for food, clothing, resources, and a listening ear, all under one roof. From June 2011 until 2022, we served our neighbors in a single location that functioned as a “one-stop shop” for those in need.

When we lost that space, we didn’t stop serving. We adapted, operating out of several locations across the city to meet the growing needs of our neighbors. But working from scattered spaces has been difficult, and it has kept us from offering the very best to our community.

With your help, we can breathe new life into the old Scotts plant at 333 N Maple Street, transforming it into the new Hope Center. This incredible location, just steps from the STEM and high schools, and surrounded by families who need us most, sits on more than 14 acres of land with room to grow and dream. Together, we can create more than just a building. We can build a vibrant community center, a safe haven for youth, a gathering place for families, and a welcoming space where every person feels supported and reminded that hope is alive.

The first step is critical.
We need $3.5 million to begin transforming this building and bring the Community Kitchen back under our roof. Your gift today will help create a beautiful, welcoming space where hope and community can flourish.

Your gift today will help open the doors to a new Hope Center: a place that will serve thousands of individuals and families for generations to come. Every contribution moves us closer to creating a true home of hope and transformation. Will you be part of this vision?
Together, we can build something extraordinary for Union County.
Phase 1:  build and launch a new Community Kitchen with seating for 200 or more.
Phase 2:  build and launch a safe and secure Youth Center
Phase 3:  create all the structure needed to have a one-stop shop for our community, complete with meeting rooms, classrooms and more!

If so, click the DONATE NOW button below.  For long-term gifts, please pledge the final amount and set up your schedule.

With gratitude,
