Family to Family Furniture Bank

Whether you need one item like a dresser or kitchen table or a household full of items we are here for you. We can help you with anything that you would need to move into a new home.

This is a one- time-emergency-service. To receive assistance, you will need to speak to the Hope Center’s receptionist (937-309-4209) to schedule an EAP interview. During this interview, the EAP specialist will help you fill out an application for the items that you need from The Furniture Bank. You will then be called by a volunteer from The Furniture Bank, to schedule an appointment at which time you will choose and take home the items that you have chosen.

Donations

The Family to Family Furniture Bank is always in search of new or gently used items to be donated for another family to use. Please consider donating your excess furniture items to the Hope Center.

Furniture Pick-up for donations is not available at this time. Donations can be dropped off on Saturdays between 10 & noon.

WE CAN ACCEPT:

Clean sofas, chairs, tables, desks, bookcases, dressers, rockers, ottomans
Working TV’s -No tube TV’s PLEASE!
Nightstands
Bed linens, blankets, towels, comforters
Table & Floor Lamps
Functional large appliances: washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, microwave ovens
Functional small appliances: toasters, coffeepots, blenders, mixers, crockpots, & electric skillets
Dishes, serving pieces, pots and pans, utensils, silverware
Working clocks

ITEMS WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

No Beds
Broken or dirty items
Clothes, shoes (Will be accepted by ReStore 61 at Hope Center)
Console TV’s
Knick knacks
No Electronics
Stereo/Speaker
Exercise equipment
Cribs
Car seats of any kind
Toys
Motor vehicles or machines of any kind
Tools, small lawn and garden items
Wheelchairs, walkers, canes, bedside commodes, other handicapped items (these can be taken to the VFW)
Luggage
Games/Books/DVD’s
Entertainment Centers or Hutches
Bed Frames
Head/Foot Boards (Good Will accepts these)
Sewing Machines/Sewing Machine Table

Futons Decorative functional items: clocks, pictures (16”x20” or smaller), throw pillows, mirrors
